Helping Hands Thrift Store provides financial assistance to those in need. We offer rental, utility, and medical assistance programs to help those who are struggling get back on their feet. We also have a food pantry and clothing closet to help with basic needs. We know that times are tough and money is tight. Rental Assistance
Rent is the largest bill most people have to pay every month. If you’re behind on rent, we may be able to help. We offer rental assistance to those who are struggling to make ends meet. We can help with payments once every 4 months. *Must be written to mortgage company or landlords.
Utility Assistance
Utilities are another large bill that can be difficult to pay at times. Having electricity for heat in the winter and A/C in the summer is an absolute necessity. You can’t go without water for drinking and cooking either. If you’re having trouble paying your utility bills, we may be able to help.
Medical Assistance
Medical bills can add up quickly, especially if you don’t have insurance. If you’re struggling to pay your medical bills or need help filling your prescriptions for an illness, reach out to us. We may be able to help you get the assistance you need.
Food Assistance
If you’re struggling to put food on the table for you or your family, we can help with that too. The Helping Hands Food Pantry and garden provide fast food assistance to the hungry.
